Ms Tonya Butler-Farris  Principal

Ms Farris has 28 years of experience in the educational field. She has taught 6th grade math, Kindergarten, 4th grade, 7th grade math, 5th grade social studies, and has worked at the Central Office as School Coordinator Director. Ms Farris received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University and received her MA degree in School Leadership from the University of North Alabama.

Ms Farris followed in her dad’s footsteps. Her father, Wayne Butler was  in the educational field for over 32 years. He spent the last 23 years in school administration.   Ms Farris has one son, Keaton Butler Farris, who recently graduated from Northeast Mississippi Community College as a Registered Nurse.  He is presently working in the ER department at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth.

Mrs. Tammy Johnson
Assistant Principal

Mrs. Johnson is married to Rick Johnson and they have two children, Brent and Dalton. Brent is a senior at The University of Mississippi and Dalton is a junior at Alcorn Central High School. This is her 24th year with the Alcorn County School District during which time she has taught special education, first grade, and sixth grade.
