Technology Applications is a course designed to instruct students who are looking at the possibility of a high paying career in the technologies, engineering, or architecture. Technology Applications gives students a variety of hands on experiences in the following areas:
Robotics/Computer Manufacturing Computer Aided Drafting/Drawing Computer Numeric Control/CADD Computer Animation/Multimedia Laser/Fiber Optics Technology Internet/Teleconferencing Desktop Publishing Programming Computer Construction/Repair Spatial Imaging Programmable Logic Control Electricity/Electronics Mechanical Systems Fluid Systems Thermal Energy Computer Networking Statistical Process Control
Credit Toward Graduation: 2 units of credit are awarded each year of completion of Technology Applications I and II for a total of 4 units toward graduation requirements. Technology Applications can also be counted as 1 unit of Science credit toward fulfillment of that requirement. |
