Important Dates

*February 9, 2010 -   Kossuth Elementary Science Fair

February 10, 2010 - KES Awards Ceremony at 12:00 in the auditorium

March 9, 2010 -      Region IV Science Fair in the Northeast Community College gym

What to Do on the Day of the Science Fair

*6:30 - 9:30  Set up projects in the KES gym. Remember to bring a table for your project display.

If you are not sure which category you are in, check with your teacher before the day of the Science Fair.

Look for the Class division you will be entering (Class I for Grades 1-3; Class II for Grade 4).

Next look for the sign with the category for your project.

Then look for your name on a note card on the gym floor.

After you set up your project, go to your homeroom.

You will be called to the gym to speak with the judges about 12:00.

Stay by your project until your group is dismissed.

Remain quiet unless you are speaking with a judge.

No food or drinks are allowed in the gym.

While you are waiting on the judges to get to you, read over what you plan to say to the judges.
