   Director: David Hopple

The KHS Band competed at the Music in the Parks Festival in Atlanta, Georgia, on April 9. They competed against bands from Ohio, South Carolina, and Alabama. The KHS Band received the following awards:

  • First in High School Concert Band
  • First Place Jazz Band
  • Top Band Overall in competition
  • Rory Dale Young won Top Jazz Soloist
