LOCATION
Rienzi Elementary School is located at 21 School Street in Rienzi, Mississippi.  Turn left off of Hwy. 356 in downtown Rienzi  (Vern Crow's Wrecker Service and Automotive Repair on right and North Rienzi Church of Christ on the left).  Follow this road until you pass the Rienzi Library and Rienzi Baptist Church.  The school will be located on the left just beyond the church, approximately one quarter of a mile from Vern's.

ENROLLMENT
During the 2010-2011 school year, Rienzi School has approximately 130 students on roll.  Anyone interested in enrolling their children at Rienzi should contact the school at 662-462-5214 between the hours of 8 A.M. and 3 P.M.

ACCREDITATION
Rienzi has 10 certified teachers on staff who are well trained in subject areas, knowledge, technology, etc. to give students the education they need and deserve.  Rienzi also has 2 teachers' assistants (1 in Kindergarten and 1 in Special Services).  Special Education/Resource classes give guidance, assistance, and help to children with special needs. Gifted and talented students also have enrichment classes.

ACADEMIC CLASSES TAUGHT AT RIENZI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
K-2
Basics in phonics, reading, writing, spelling, math, English, science, and various extracurricular activities such as art, music, physical education, etc. Also, students begin computer training in kindergarten, and computers are integrated into the classrooms as well as regular computer classes in our 28-station lab.

Grades 3-6
English (language arts), reading, writing, spelling, math, science, social studies, computer literacy, and various extracurricular activities (gifted, physical education, etc.)
